Getting around VancouverGetting around Vancouver is generally a pretty easy thing to do. An inexpensive and quick way to get around is by using Translink, which operates the local bus service, the Sky Train light rail elevated train network that connects Surrey to downtown, and the Sea Bus which connects the waterfront in downtown Vancouver with Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver by crossing Burrard Inlet with double ended catamaran ferries. If you are feeling adventurous and want to make a day trip up the coast a little, go to one of the Gulf Islands or to Vancouver Island, or take a cruise through the magestic Inside Passage then BC Ferries is the way to go.
